Sweet, Sweet Pun'kin Patch

I went to the pumpkin patch in Pitt Meadows today and ran into beautiful little Sugar. Her mom said I could snap a few, so I did. She was such a good listener! And SO cute. Enjoy!

This was the little visitor on my pumpkin :)

This absolutely gorgeous. It's the second largest tank in the world.
The song is perfect too, it's Please Don't Go by Barcelona.

Back to the Books?

I applied for University today. I don't know why I did it to be honest, I just felt like I should. So I did. If I do get in, I'll start in the spring of 2010, and if I don't...well, then I know I wasn't supposed to go at that time.
I guess we will have to see. In the end it was very unexpected to get that feeling. Oh ya, I guess I should mention, that the U. was SFU. I thought about going back to UBC but I shuddered at the memory of a 1.5 hour commute. (this was ONE way- BLARGH) I applied for the General Studies Program, so I can have the basic freedom of picking and choosing courses. I still have NO idea of what I want to do.

I guess what might have spurred this random thought of school is boredom. I spent all of today alone, simply because everyone was working on assignments or studying. I felt left out. Also I have been watching and reading a lot of scientific discoveries online. A couple of which have really amazed me. Below is a link of "synthetic blood" or more specifically "oxygen therapeutics". It's very interesting and they do a neat job of explaining it.

P.S. The ghost is still in my room...I think.

Canadian Release!

So Google has released "street side view" in Canada. I had the chance to play around with it...more than once. It's really super cool, but at the same time really creepy. If you haven't tried it out yet, or haven't even heard of it, here's how to do it.

1. Go to http://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en&tab=wl
2. Enter your address.
3. Zoom in all the way.
4. Drag the little yellow man next to your destination bubble.
5. Explore! You can use the directional arrows on your keyboard to move around too.

It's pretty incredible where technology is at nowadays! Just a note- some small cities don't work. For example: Calgary will work, but Lethbridge won't. The only way to make street side work is if the little man is yellow. If he's white then sorry kids but no can do!

And in case anyone was wondering- My room is still haunted!

About Time!

I've been wanting a blog for so long now and BAM! here it is. I doubt anyone is reading this but in case you are, HELLO! Thanks for reading!

Tonight is night three of the "room haunting". I am officially too scared to set foot in my room when the sun goes down. I don't know what it is, but something is freaking my dog out, which in turn is scaring me. And of course the only logical thing that I can think of is: a Ghost! I haven't seen it or heard it, but my dog sees something. She sits on my bed and stares at something as if it's moving around the room. It's not an insect, or shadows or anything. And then at times she just panics and tries to climb into my lap (keep in mind she's a huge dog). She only does this in my room. GAH! Am I crazy? Or is this legit? Anyways, I've been lacking in the sleep department, considering I've had to bunk up with my brother. Blah. Hopefully, the ghost decides to leave soon.
